Hong Myung-bo-ho's national soccer team striker Joo Min-kyu's net goal against Oman was recorded as the latest regular-time goal in the Korean soccer A match ever.
Joo Min-kyu completed the team's third goal with a right-footed shot from Son Heung-min's right side in the 56th minute of the second half, when South Korea led Oman 2-1.
The previous record was a dramatic header equalizer by Cho Kyu-sung in the 9th minute of second-half stoppage time in the round of 16 against Saudi Arabia at the Asian Cup in January.
The latest score, including extra time, was Hwang Jae-won's dramatic equalizer in the 15th minute of extra time in the 2011 Qatar Asian Cup semi-final against Japan.
