Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Meta Platforms, accepts a bag that's likely to be in an espionage movie.

What came out of the bag is the augmented reality smart glasses 'Orien'.

[Mark Zuckerberg / Meta Platforms CEO: This is not a headset. There's no lead, and it's less than 100g. You need a holographic display with a wide viewing angle to be clear enough to capture the details.]

It is a method of implementing holographic augmented reality function by projecting a 3D image with a projector on a glasses lens.

In addition, glasses and wristbands track the user's voice, gaze, and hand movements, so you can click or scroll the image in front of your eyes.

Zuckerberg also said O'Rion will be "the next computing device after the smartphone," adding that it is a "time machine" that gives a glimpse of the future.

However, it did not mention the timing and price of the launch, but it is said that it will lower the production cost and market it in 2027.

The latest version of AI chatbot, Meta AI, has also been introduced.

It is signed by five famous actors, including British actor Judi Dench, and provided in their voices.

[Aquafina] [Voiceover] (I'm going to do it anyway.) Try it. Whatever happens, make sure you're ready.]

Meta started with social media Facebook, but changed its name and shifted its business center to the metaverse.

We're pouring tens of billions of dollars into related technologies, but the performance hasn't been good.

Still, the market reacted well on the day of this Connect 2024 keynote, sending Meta's stock to an all-time high of $568.31.
