Medical Association "Government, please guarantee the reduction of medical school in 2026."

Regarding the increase in medical schools, the medical community emphasized that medical schools should be able to be cut in 2026 in order to resolve the legislative conflict.

The Korean Medical Association held a briefing today (30th) and demanded that the government guarantee that medical school capacity can be reduced from 2026 if the situation cannot be avoided.

He also said that if the government had increased the number of people through this process, there would have been no confusion like today, and that he opposes the advisory estimation body, not the voting body.

He also pointed out that the decision process should be transparently disclosed to the public because the issue of doctors' manpower is directly related to the increase in medical expenses.
