After midnight, gray smoke rises from the center of Beirut, where buildings are concentrated.

On the 30th local time, Israeli forces used drones to attack a residential apartment in the Kola district.

It is the first time that Israeli forces have targeted central Beirut since October 7 last year, when the conflict with Hezbollah began.

The Israeli military said it had struck another target on Beirut, but did not mention any specific targets.

Foreign media said three leaders of the Palestinian Liberation Front-affiliated armed group were killed, and the group confirmed the death in a statement.

Lebanon's health ministry says Israeli airstrikes have killed more than 100 people in a single day, with more than a thousand deaths in the last two weeks.

Israel says it has succeeded in removing the command of at least 20 people, including Hezbollah's supreme leader Nasrallah.

Following Lebanon, Israel continued its relentless offensive by conducting airstrikes on Yemen's Houthi rebels base.

There are concerns that Netanyahu may soon push ahead with a ground war in Lebanon with the joining of a long-time rival opposition leader in the coalition.

Hezbollah has appointed Hasim Safiedin to replace Hasan Nasrallah, who was killed in Israeli airstrikes, Iranian local media reported.

Safiedin is Nasrallah's cousin, who died, and a deeply trusted figure in Iran's leadership, who has been considered Hezbollah's second-in-command since early on.

CNN and other foreign media predict that Hezbollah will resist again after rebuilding the organization, as it has been supported by Iran for 40 years.
