Explain the reason for your visit to a bewildered man.

Mr. A, a
college student, is accused of earning more than 13 million won by using a macro program to reserve 15 tickets for singer Lim Young-woong's performance and selling them to a second-hand trading site.

The macro program automatically helps book without having to click directly, but it is illegal under the revised Performance Act in March as the resale controversy continues.

Until last month, the police arrested a total of seven people, including Mr. A, on charges of violating the performance law through monitoring of used trading sites.

They are accused of using macro programs to sell tickets for popular singers at a higher price than the regular price.

In particular, actor Byun Woo-seok's fan meeting tickets were sold for 2.35 million won, 30 times more expensive than the regular price of 77,000 won.

[Park Soon-ki / Head of the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency's wind speed control division: We have started tracking down people with a large number of sales history and arrested them this time. Mostly for the purpose of earning a living or pocket money....]

The police plan to establish a joint response consultative body with the private sector, including public relations activities to eradicate illegal macro use and develop prevention technology.

At around 8:40 a.m., a large truck was overturned near the Osan Interchange in the direction of Busan on the Gyeongbu Expressway.

A one-ton truck fell near the Seopyeongtaek Interchange in the direction of Mokpo on the West Coast Expressway.

No one was injured in both accidents, but traffic was congested in the aftermath of the accident.

Police believe the accident occurred when they slipped on the rain.

A North Korean defector in his 30s who was trying to drive a bus to North Korea from the Tongil Bridge in Paju, Gyeonggi Province, was caught by police at dawn.

The man was found to have ignored the restraints of a military sentinel blocking the passage to North Korea, hit the blocking fence, and then stopped.

A man who defected from North Korea more than a decade ago is said to have stated that he committed the crime to return to North Korea due to difficulties in living in South Korea.

The security investigation unit of the Gyeonggi Northern Police Agency is investigating the exact motive of the crime.
