The South Korean Veterans Association held a rally in front of the Russian Embassy in Seoul this morning and strongly condemned Russia for sending a large number of North Korean combatants and delivered a letter of protest.
In a statement of condemnation, Veterans Affairs Chairman Shin Sang-tae called for immediate return, saying Russia, which invaded Ukraine in violation of the U.N. Charter, is making North Korea a joint criminal, and North Korea is making a dangerous deal of upgrading nuclear weapons at the cost of the lives of dispatched soldiers.
He added that Russia and North Korea are responsible for all the consequences of the dispatch, and that the Hyanggun actively supports the government's policy and will respond strongly.
