Bucheon City Opens 'Bucheon Hands Up' Character Copyright Free to Small Business Owners

Bucheon City announced that it will open the character copyright for free so that local small business owners and small and medium-sized companies can use the city's representative character "Buchon Hands-Up" to do profitable business.

Those who wish to use Bucheon Hands-Up's copyright can submit an application for use, a business plan, and evidentiary documents for small and medium-sized enterprises or small business owners to the city's department from the 4th to the 22nd of this month.

Bucheon City plans to allow free use of characters except for products that cannot be sold to minors, such as alcohol and cigarettes, and products that go against social norms.

Bucheon City has been producing and selling goods using Bucheon Hands-up since last year, and plans to further encourage small business owners and small and medium-sized companies to use character copyright to revitalize the local economy.

Bucheon Hands-Up is a name derived from Put Your Hands-Up, which is commonly called by singers when they draw the audience's response on stage, and the shape of the character's hair embodies a peace hand gesture commonly used in concert halls.
