Nexon's new casual RPG "Hwaseokhojeon Online," which will be introduced in cooperation with SuperCat, will begin a close beta test (CBT) from November 21st to 24th.
Based on the IP of 'Hwansaechwajeon', which was very popular in the 1990s, 'Hwansaechwajeon Online' introduced 2.5D dot graphics tailored to the modern sense, expressing the original characters 'Ataho', 'Lin Xiang', and 'Smashu' vividly. It is characterized by a high-speed combat system and evoking memories of the original through symbolic contents such as "Eating Contest" and "Mutu Contest."
The CBT will be held simultaneously on mobile (AOS) and PC from 10 a.m., and participants can experience new fighting methods such as "tag system" and "striker system" through the story, field boss, and raid of the original.
Prior to CBT, Nexon will hold a pre-booking event until 10 a.m. on November 21st, presenting 999 character recall rights to participants. Users who achieve their achievements during the CBT period will be given a "guardian order" that serves as a combat assistant on a first-come, first-served basis, and attendance events will be held to receive various rewards such as special skins and equipment boxes just by accessing them.
The first demonstration build will be unveiled at G-Star 2024, which will be held in Busan from November 14. Visitors can experience battles with field boss "Dead Dragon" and various original-based content on mobile devices.
