It has been shown that the college entrance rate of vocational high school graduates has increased for four consecutive years.

According to the statistics of vocational high school graduates released by the Ministry of Education and the Korea Education Development Institute, the enrollment rate is increasing every year from 42.5% in 2020 to 48% last year.

In contrast, the employment rate rose to 57.8% in 2022 and then declined for the second consecutive year to 55.3% last year.

Meister High School had the highest employment rate of 72.5% last year, followed by 52.3% for specialized high schools and 43.9% for general high schools.

In particular, the Ministry of Education said that the proportion of students who entered companies with "300 or more employees" among all employed people increased for the third consecutive year to 34.5% last year, showing positive changes in the quality of employment.
