Early in the morning, a 30-year-old man riding an electric bicycle to work was hit and killed by a drunk driver's vehicle in his 20s.

Seongnam Sujeong Police Station in Gyeonggi Province applied for an arrest warrant for a 22-year-old college student A on charges of causing a drunk hit-and-run death yesterday (5th).

Mr. A is accused of driving an SUV in Sujeong-gu, Seongnam-si, Gyeonggi-do at around 4:10 a.m. yesterday (5th) while drunk, hitting an electric bicycle running on the road and running away without any action.

B, a cyclist in his 30s, was seriously injured and taken to the hospital unconscious, but he died.Mr.

B is a self-employed person who ran an unmanned laundry room, and reportedly had an accident while on his way to work from dawn.

The police found A's vehicle in an officetel about 1.5 kilometers away through CCTV footage, and arrested A at home in three hours.

After the accident, A was found to have attempted to destroy evidence, such as removing the vehicle's black box memory card, and also attempted so-called "drinking," such as lying to a police officer that he had "come home and drank."

Before the accident, A had a third round of drinking with acquaintances such as college seniors and juniors in Bokjeong-dong, Sujeong-gu, Seongnam-si, and then drove a Santa Fe car under his mother's name, causing an accident and running away.

It turns out that A was revoked for driving under the influence three years ago when he just became an adult, but he got his license again in March.
