[Green] Agricultural Development Agency Seeks 'Food Security' Cooperation With Caribbean Region

The Rural Development Administration and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs held a "Korea-Caribbean high-level forum" on the 4th to seek food security cooperation with the Caribbean.

This forum is a forum for dialogue to promote exchanges and cooperation between Korea and the Caribbean, which has been held every year since 2011 and marks its 14th anniversary this year.

The forum was attended by dignitaries from seven major Caribbean agricultural countries, the Caribbean Community, and regional organizations such as the Caribbean Agricultural Development Institute.

Participants in the forum shared policies and best practices of Korea and the Caribbean to respond to the food security crisis, and discussed ways to promote food security and cooperate based on research and development of related agricultural technologies such as climate change adaptation and smart agricultural technologies.
