2024.11.08 PM 02:58
Johnny Somali, an American YouTuber who caused controversy over various misbehaviors and disturbances, bowed his head in front of the Japanese Military Sexual Slavery Girl's Statue.

"I want to apologize to Koreans" and "I didn't know about the importance of a girl's image," which is again controversial over the authenticity of the apology.

Somali visited the Peace Girl Statue at Changdong Historical Culture Park in Dobong-gu, Seoul with several Korean YouTubers.

"I'm so sorry for your rude behavior," he said. "I want to learn the history of Japanese Military Sexual Slavery."
Regarding content that has been controversial for damaging
citizens, he explained, "It was an act to make people watching the broadcast laugh," and "It was not intended to cause pain or put someone in trouble."

Internet users doubt the sincerity of these apologies and explanations,
In the content posted by Somali
, there were remarks that were judged to already know the meaning and historical facts of the girl statue,

And in Japan, he criticized it as "I have no sincerity in the apology," based on the fact that he apologized for similar things and went to another country and gossiped about Japan again.

Apart from the apology, if there was an illegal act, it must be punished.

Somali is currently under police investigation for obstruction of work, drug use and violation of the Special Act on Sexual Violence.
