Roh So-young, the legal representative of Art Center Navi, has been investigated by the prosecution on charges of spreading false information about SK Group Chairman Chey Tae-won.
The Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office is investigating the case of lawyer Lee, Roh's legal representative, for defamation of false facts to the Criminal Department 5.
Earlier, the lawyer told reporters after the alimony trial in November last year that Choi donated more than 100 billion won to his cohabitant Kim Hee-young, chairman of the TNC Foundation.
In response, Chairman Choi filed a complaint with the police, saying that lawyer Lee had to specify false information and make an article, as confirmed through evidence, even though he had not paid 100 billion won or donated it.
The lawyer reportedly denied his charges, but the police sent the lawyer without detention late last month, believing that the defamation charges were admitted.
