With the first trial of the case of Lee Jae-myung, the leader of the Democratic Party of Korea, on charges of violating the Public Official Election Act just four days away, the application for the right to attend has begun.

From today (11th) to tomorrow, the Seoul Central District Court accepts applications for 36 seats through its website.

The court moved the sentencing court from the 30-seat 408th court, where the trial was previously held, to the 100-seat 311th court, and the rest of the seats were allocated to the public except for the seats of litigants and reporters.

The court will select the audience through a random lottery the day after tomorrow (13th), and the audience tickets will be distributed at the court site on the afternoon of the 15th, the day of the sentence.
