The Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission pointed out that the leakage of public finances in the medical sector, such as illegal receipt of medical care benefits or excessive claims for medical expenses, is occurring seriously.

The Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission issued a press release today (12th) and said it is operating a month-long intensive reporting period for violations of the medical law.

In the case of detection, an internal medicine clinic in Seoul recruited patients through brokers, performed self-lifting after treatment hours, and tricked doctors into paying for medical care benefits.

The Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission explained that more than a hundred people, including doctors, brokers, and unlicensed practitioners, have been indicted and tried in this way.

A nursing hospital was also caught for fraudulent medical care benefits by borrowing a doctor's license and hiring more doctors than the actual number of workers.

The Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission said that medical care benefits that should be used for public health are seriously leaking, and asked for a lot of information during the intensive reporting period, which runs until the 21st.
