Suspicions have been raised that Myung Tae-kyun, a key figure in Yoon Suk Yeol's alleged involvement in the nomination of a presidential couple, was involved in the designation of Changwon National Industrial Complex as well as related personnel.
According to a recording obtained by the Democratic Party of Korea, Myung is known to have said that he had influence on the appointment of the head of the Changwon Industrial Promotion Agency, which is in charge of Changwon Industrial Complex.
In fact, it was found that Jang, who is suspected of being recommended by Myung, became the director in April last year.
In this regard, Jang said in a media interview, "I have nothing to say," and Myung drew a line on the suspicion, saying, "It was an exaggeration."
Separately, the Democratic Party plans to conduct an on-site investigation on the 15th to investigate allegations of Myung's involvement in the designation of Changwon Industrial Complex and speculation by people around him.
