The College Scholastic Ability Test (CSAT) panel said it excluded killer questions and adjusted the difficulty of the test so that it could secure discrimination only with what was dealt with in the public curriculum.

Dongguk University Professor Choi Joong-chul, chairman of the College Scholastic Ability Test (CSAT), explained that the questions were presented according to the content and level of the high school curriculum to evaluate how faithfully they learned at school, and that even if the questions had already been presented, they changed the form, idea, and approach of the questions.

The Korean and English areas used fingerprints and materials from various subjects, mathematics and inquiry, second foreign language, and Chinese literature were aimed at evaluating thinking skills, and Korean history, a mandatory subject, was presented plainly focusing on the core contents of our history.

He also said that the connection rate with EBS SAT textbooks and lectures was 50%, and only English and Korean were 55.6% and 51.1%, respectively, exceeding 50%.
