More than 30 people have been killed or injured in Israeli military airstrikes targeting Palestinian militant groups in Syria.

In the meantime, the United Nations Special Committee concluded that Israel's conduct of war on Gaza was in line with genocide.

Israeli forces have launched airstrikes on the outskirts of the Syrian capital, Damascus.

It is explained that it targeted terrorist facilities and command centers of the Palestinian militant group Islamic Jihad.

Israel says the Islamic Jihad took part in the Gaza war that began in October last year and is under the cover of the Syrian regime.

The town that was bombed is a chaos.

Ambulance sounds from all over the place, and casualties are carried out in the building.

More than 30 people were killed or injured in the airstrikes, Syria's state news agency said.

[Bassel Salameh / Eyewitness to the Air Raid] It's the average citizen that the Israeli military is targeting. This is where we live. I was walking down the street when a rocket suddenly fell into the building.]

Israel is attacking the neighboring Syrian border, saying it would prevent weapons and troops from flowing into Lebanon's pro-Iranian militant Hezbollah.

In addition, the United Nations understands that Israel is building trenches in some areas of the Golan Heights bordering Syria.

The ceasefire agreement between the two countries, which has been in place since 1974, is facing a serious crisis.

Israel, which is pleased with Trump's election, is continuing its strong offensive not only in Syria but also in Lebanon.

In the midst of this, the United Nations began to find out how peacekeepers in Lebanon were shot again.

Israel has called for the withdrawal of peacekeepers, but the United Nations has made it clear that it has no intention of responding.

[Jean-Pierre Lacroix / United Nations peacekeeping mission chief: We will do everything we can to keep the U.N. Security Council there today and tomorrow.]

Meanwhile, a special committee under the United Nations has released a report that says Israel's conduct of the Gaza war meets the characteristics of genocide.

He criticized the war for causing enormous casualties and deliberately restricting essentials for the life support of Palestinians, such as food and water.

The Special Committee will officially submit a report to the UN General Assembly on the 18th.
