Lee Jae-myung, chairman of the Democratic Party of Korea, said he will push for measures to improve corporate governance within the regular session of the National Assembly as quickly, strongly and unwavering as possible.

Lee stressed at the Supreme Council that he will at least change the corporate governance structure to the level of advanced countries.

He then pointed out that the business community is opposed to the amendment to the commercial law, but can it enjoy profits based on injustice and injustice to have international competitiveness?

Earlier, the business community protested when the Democratic Party of Korea said it would push for a revision to the Commercial Act, which includes expanding directors' duty of loyalty from the company to "all shareholders," and Lee's remarks are interpreted as refuting this.

Instead, CEO Lee said that the issue of breach of trust that companies are concerned about is becoming a means of abuse of prosecution power, suggesting the possibility of easing or abolishing it.
