Lee Jae-myung said, "A conclusion that is hard to accept...Appeals to be appealed"

Lee Jae-myung, chairman of the Democratic Party of Korea, said the conclusion of the first trial court, which sentenced him to be deprived of his right to vote for violating the Public Official Election Act, is difficult to accept from the basic recognition of facts, and he will appeal.

Immediately after he was sentenced to the first trial, Lee said, "If you judge according to common sense and justice, you will be able to reach a conclusion."

"There are still two more courts in reality, and the courts of public sentiment and history are eternal," he said, adding that today's scene will also be a scene in modern Korean history.
