Group BTS (BTS) Jin is back with his first solo album after being discharged from the military.
Jin released his first solo album "Happy" at 2 p.m. today (15th).
'Happy' is special to Jin, as it is Jin's first solo album and an album that allows him to start his career as a singer after being discharged from the military. "It's meaningful to have a solo album under my name," he said. "I hope everyone who listens to this album will be happy."
'Happy' deals with his journey to find the 'happiness' that is important to him. Jin honestly expressed emotions such as love, excitement, and courage, which are elements of happiness, and expressed his hope that listeners would be happy. Jin introduced, "My opinion was reflected a lot, and it was an album that melted my taste enough."
'Happy' contains a total of six songs, including the title song 'Running Wild', 'I'll Be There', 'Another Level', 'Until I Touch You', 'Heart on the Window with Wendy', and 'In Longing'.
Jin said of the title song, "I felt like I was nostalgic of the past. So I thought it would be nice for those who listen to the song to feel comfortable and familiar," he explained.
Produced by Gary Barlow of the British pop band Take That, the song has all its lyrics in English.
In response, Jin said, "I corrected my pronunciation a lot during the recording process. I was confused between American and British pronunciations, but I tried my best to use the correct pronunciation, he said. "Of course, it was because my pronunciation was not good."
Among the tracks, Jin's song "In Longing" to BTS fan ARMY stands out. He wrote the lyrics himself.
Jin said, "I wrote down a few lines of how I felt after becoming a trainee. "I wrote based on the record of honest emotions such as 'The fans are waiting for me, I have to sing, I have to perform,'" he said. "I expressed my desire to go back to the fans as soon as possible."
Like the name of the album, Jin is feeling happy while doing various activities after being discharged from the military. He said, "Seeing the fans like and happy watching my activities made me happy, too. I thought, "This is why I work."
Jin plans to continue this happiness through a fan showcase. Jin's fan showcase will be held at Jangchung Gymnasium in Jung-gu, Seoul from the 16th to the 17th.
