Representatives of medical students across the country have decided to continue their struggle against the government next year following this year.
The Korean Medical University and Medical School Student Association held an expanded student representative meeting today with more than 200 representatives from 40 medical schools nationwide and representatives from each grade.
At the meeting, the Medical Association decided to continue the struggle in 2025 to fulfill the government's demands, including the complete abolition of the increase in medical schools.
267 student representatives voted in favor of next year's struggle policy, and only two opposed it.
However, we decided to decide the detailed way of fighting, such as whether to continue the leave of absence next year or refuse classes, through further discussion.
Earlier in February, medical students across the country left school on a group leave in protest of the government's policy to increase medical schools.
