The APEC summit, attended by 21 member countries, has come to an end.

Inclusive trade is the main agenda, but the leaders' attention has been on U.S. President-elect Trump, who has not even taken office yet.

They are concerned about Trump's "America First" to impose tariffs of 60% on China and 10-20% on all countries.

Canadian Prime Minister Trudeau has indirectly criticized Trump.

[Justin Trudeau / Canadian Prime Minister: If we're negotiating with the United States or any other country and saying, "Come on, how do we win and make the other party lose," it doesn't work like that.]

Chinese President Xi Jinping also stressed in his speech that some countries should not be allowed to exercise hegemony.

Although he did not directly mention it, it is believed to be aimed at the U.S. and Trump.President

held separate summits with the heads of participating countries to secure allies.

The new Japanese Prime Minister Ishiba, who met for the first time, was told that he had no intention of excluding China and "decoupling."

He also met with the leaders of Singapore, Thailand, New Zealand and Chile, respectively, and emphasized strengthening cooperation.

[Xi Jinping, President of China: No matter how the international environment changes, China and Chile are good friends who always trust each other and good partners who can cooperate for each other's benefit.]

President Xi will also meet with U.S. President Biden, who is about to leave office, and is expected to discuss smooth management of bilateral relations during the regime change.
