"The obesity treatment 'Wigobi' begins to be sold in China"

Danish drugmaker Novo Nordisk has begun selling its obesity drug Hugobee in China, Reuters reported.

The price for a month was set at 1,400 yuan and 260,000 won for our money, Reuters said, citing Chinese media.

The price in the U.S. for a month is about 1,300 dollars, and our money is about 1.8 million won.

A Novo Nordisk spokesperson, who confirmed the launch in China, did not comment on the price.

Chinese health insurance does not cover high costs, so Novo Nordisk is looking for ways to make it cheaper for consumers to buy drugs through private insurance.
