The Housing and Urban Guarantee Corporation (HUG) announced on the 26th that it will issue 700 billion won worth of new capital securities to expand equity capital.
New capital securities are recognized as equity capital because they are special bonds, and this is the first time that HUG raises funds on its own, not by the government's fund investment.
HUG can guarantee up to 90 times the capital, so if the capital is expanded due to the issuance of new capital securities, there is an effect of securing additional capacity for guaranteeing deposit for lease on a deposit basis.
