The National Assembly Steering Committee alone voted for next year's budget plan, which calls for a full reduction of the presidential office's special activity expenses.
The steering committee held a general meeting and passed a plan to cut 8.25 billion won in special activities for the presidential office and the national security office and 1.6 billion won in specific work expenses without the ruling party's absence.
However, the budget for the special activities of the bodyguard was maintained as the original plan of the government, and only the special police were partially adjusted.
The ruling party left, calling it the unilateral handling of the opposition party, and the opposition party refuted that the purpose of the security agency's budget was clarified, but the presidential office's special activity expenses were not called for the purpose and use.
