2024.11.22 AM 10:29
The delay in subway trains in the Seoul metropolitan area has eased somewhat this morning, the last day of the Korea Railroad Union's departure.

Korail said 18 of the 474 metropolitan subway cars that ran from the first train to 9 a.m. today were delayed for more than 20 minutes.

This is 3.8% of the trains in operation, a significant decrease from yesterday when the delay rate for more than 20 minutes was 14.4%.

The railway union said that there are no industrial action plans to affect traffic flow until the strike begins after the compliance struggle until today, and that it will be ready for a strike through sectoral rallies next week.

The railway union said in a press conference yesterday that it will go on a general strike on the 5th of next month if demands such as improving working conditions and raising wages are not met.
