The Overseas Korean Office will set up the Incheon branch of the civil service office at Incheon International Airport Terminal 2, and start full-scale operation on the 2nd of next month.
The Overseas Koreans' Office has set up an integrated civil service office in Gwanghwamun, Seoul, and a branch office in Songdo, Yeonsu-gu, Incheon, where the main office is located, but decided to relocate the Incheon branch to Incheon Airport so that overseas Koreans who enter and exit can access civil service more conveniently.
The Incheon International Airport Civil Service Office will provide counseling services for all areas of civil complaints provided by the Gwanghwamun Integrated Civil Service Office, including nationality, immigration, Korean visa, military service, national pension, and health insurance.
It also provides some civil service related to overseas migration, such as issuing a copy of the overseas national register, reissuing the overseas migration report confirmation, and reporting the return of overseas citizens.
