Russia has accused the current Biden administration of only increasing conflict, as opposed to Trump's reference to peace on the part of the U.S. president-elect regarding the war in Ukraine.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said in a briefing today (25th) that the words "peace" or "peace plan" are heard by Trump's supporters and the nominees for the next U.S. government official.
He then pointed out that the current officials do not hear such words and that they continue to act provocative and aggravating the situation.
Peskov also stressed that Russian President Putin has repeatedly said he is ready to talk about Ukraine.
On reports that European countries have begun discussing sending their own troops or civilian mercenaries, it is not clear how consistent they are with the reality, but some hasty leaders have said they are struggling.
He added that he had said that the arrival of foreign military units in Ukraine would have extremely negative consequences.
