Despite the observation that a cease-fire between Israel and pro-Iranian militant Hezbollah is imminent, Israel continued its rampage against Lebanon.
On the afternoon of the 25th local time, Israeli forces said they had attacked 25 Hezbollah executive committee-related targets outside the Lebanese capital Beirut and in the south, including Navatye and Dahiye.
The Israeli military emphasized, "The bombing targeted the executive committee's command headquarters and the intelligence control center has reduced Hezbollah's command and control ability to collect information."
"In the past few weeks, Israeli attacks have killed 45 Lebanese soldiers and destroyed Lebanese military buildings and assets," the U.N. peacekeeping force in Lebanon said in a statement.
"Attacking Lebanese troops on Lebanese territory is a blatant violation of U.N. Security Council Resolution 1701 and international humanitarian law," the U.N. peacekeeping force said.
