The People's Power decided to form a special committee under the party's policy committee to leap forward as one of the top three AI powerhouses.

Floor leader Choo Kyung-ho said at the floor meeting that 2025 will be a key year for the creation of AI infrastructure and will be a golden time to leap forward as three AI powerhouses we aim for.

The special committee then explained that it will actively support the whole nation to make AI a daily life and focus on reforming the industry and securing international competitiveness by incorporating AI into each industry sector.

Representative Choi Hyung-doo, the ruling party secretary of the National Assembly's Science, Technology, Information, Broadcasting, and Communications Committee, will chair the special committee's four-term Ahn Cheol Soo.
