Oh Se-hoon, "Myeong Tae-kyun, reveal who you gave it to in the poll."

2024.11.26 PM 12:05
Seoul Mayor Oh Se-hoon refuted the suspicion of paying the public opinion poll, asking political broker Myung Tae-kyun and former lawmaker Kim Young-sun's accounting manager Kang Hye-kyung to reveal to whom the unofficial poll was handed over by the end of this week.

Mayor Oh said in the briefing room of Seoul City Hall today that Myung tried to enter central politics through him, but he was rejected by the camp and did not get his way, so he maliciously gossiped about him.

In January 2021, ahead of the by-election, Kim Young-sun introduced him to meet Myung twice, and after that, Kang Chul-won, former deputy mayor of political affairs who was in charge of the camp, met with Myung.

However, when former deputy mayor Kang questioned the method, sample, and format of the poll, Myung suddenly became angry and turned into a fight, and said he had never continued his relationship since then.

He also said he was surprised to see the report that Kim, one of Mayor Oh's supporters, paid for the poll to Myung, adding that he would think that Kim may have started with a willingness to help him, but that he was a nuisance as a result.

In addition, he warned that he would consider legal action for false and malicious reports, saying he hopes the prosecution's investigation will quickly reveal all the facts.
