A restaurant owner who worked with an ex-lover was arrested in his 20s with a weapon.

Police have arrested a man who threatened a restaurant owner where his ex-lover worked with a weapon.

Paju Police Station in Gyeonggi Province said it is investigating a man in his 20s on charges of attempted murder.

The man is suspected of threatening the owner, a man in his 40s, by taking out a weapon prepared in advance at a restaurant in Geumchon-dong, Paju, at around 3 a.m. today (26th).

At that time, no one was hurt when the restaurant owner ran away.

In a police investigation, the man reportedly stated that he committed the crime because he thought it was because of the owner when he was notified of the breakup by a lover who worked at a restaurant.
