A group of people who operated a drug sales channel on Telegram and imported and distributed drugs such as ecstasy and methamphetamine have been put on trial.
The Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office today (27th) indicted four people, including the chief A, who is suspected of violating the Narcotics Control Act, and indicted two people, including drug buyers, without detention.
A and others are accused of importing 2,000 MDMA tablets and 10 grams of methamphetamine, also called ecstasy, and selling some through Telegram between November and January last year.
Their crimes were caught when customs caught MDMA smuggling and a distribution scheme trying to receive mail hiding drugs was arrested.
An official from the Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office said that they will continue to break the vicious cycle of drug crimes and protect public health and life safety.
