An unusual snow bomb in November, what's the cause?
Experts say that the ocean is much hotter than usual.
In addition, the cold air from the upper atmospheric jet stream stayed in one place, pouring more snow.

The first heavy snow in November in 117 years, the first cause is the hotter sea than ever.
Currently, the water temperature in the West Sea is 13 to 15 degrees, which is about 2 degrees higher than usual.
This summer, global warming hit the highest temperature ever in the sea around the Korean Peninsula, and the heated sea did not cool down until early winter.
The very cold air hit the still hot sea.
The 'Julie Low Pressure' separated from the upper jet stream 10km above turned counterclockwise, bringing cold air down to the ground.
The temperature difference between 1.5 km above the sea and the sea widened by more than 25 degrees.
It periodically sprayed snow bombs in Seoul and other metropolitan areas as it met the cold air supplied by the West Sea.
The Joint Low Pressure, located in the north of the Korean Peninsula, will stay until today (28th) to attract snow clouds.
[Nam Min-ji / Meteorological Agency forecaster: The current sea surface temperature in the West Sea is higher than usual, and snow clouds are strongly developed, and more snow is expected to fall due to good snow efficiency even in the same precipitation as the temperature drops below zero.]
Unusual tropical nights and late September heat followed by unusual heavy snow in November.
Everyone, it's the hottest weather ever brought by the sea around the Korean Peninsula.
