The second stage of the Central Disaster Headquarters and the "alert" stage of the heavy snow crisis warning, which were issued from 2 p.m. yesterday, are still in place.
The Ministry of Public Administration and Security said there were no official casualties as of 11 a.m. today.
However, one person who died while removing the roof of a tent-type garage in Yangpyeong, Gyeonggi-do, and one who died when the steel net of the golf practice range collapsed in Pyeongtaek, Gyeonggi-do,

Since 7 a.m. yesterday, the Seoul Metropolitan Government, along with autonomous districts and related organizations, has upgraded the snow removal emergency work to two levels to respond to all-out snow removal.
Currently, more than 11,000 personnel and 1,900 equipment are mobilized to immediately respond to snowfall, such as spraying snow removal agents and pushing snow off the road.
The Seoul Metropolitan Government said 63 accidents were caused by snowfall for two days.
By type, 48 street tree falls, 10 traffic accidents, 1 construction site collapse, and 4 power outages.
Gyeonggi Province also raised the emergency response stage of the Disaster and Safety Countermeasures Headquarters from 2nd to 3rd as of 10 p.m. last night to minimize heavy snow damage.
It is the first time in 12 years that the third stage has been issued since 2012.
Earlier, the Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education urged schools at all levels to close down, saying they were concerned about safety accidents due to heavy snow and falling temperatures, and asked them to operate an emergency contact network to understand the safety situation.
As of noon, 1,285 kindergartens, elementary, middle and high schools in Gyeonggi Province were closed.
