The Ministry of Public Administration and Security announced that all major emergency services will be lifted from 4 p.m. today as all heavy snow warnings except for some mountainous areas have been lifted, and the level of crisis warnings will be lowered from alert to "attention."

Snowflakes across the country died down, but the damage left everywhere was huge.

The Ministry of Public Administration and Security said there were no official casualties as of 11 a.m. today.

However, one person who died while removing the roof of a tent-type garage in Yangpyeong, Gyeonggi-do, and one who died when the steel net of the golf practice range collapsed in Pyeongtaek, Gyeonggi-do,

also added that an accurate investigation is needed to determine whether heavy snow was the cause of the collapse, including a citizen who was crushed to death by a fallen tree while clearing snow in Yongin, Gyeonggi Province this morning.

Residents were evacuated overnight.

In Gyeonggi-do, 71 people from 43 households were temporarily evacuated to temporary housing facilities or relatives' homes.

In addition, 20 cases of collapse were reported, including damage to a vinyl greenhouse in Gyeonggi Province and the collapse of a factory ceiling in Cheonan, South Chungcheong Province.

In Yangpyeong and Osan, Gyeonggi Province, power outages occurred due to the fall of utility poles, and out of a total of 131 cases, recovery was completed in 46 cases, or 35%.

As of 11 a.m., the fire department carried out a total of 1,628 firefighting activities in connection with the heavy snow.

The sea route was also blocked.

104 ferries were stranded on 79 routes across the country.

National parks are currently controlled by 302 sections from 11 parks, including Jirisan Mountain, Gyeryongsan Mountain, and Seoraksan Mountain.

As damage reports and aggregations are increasing across the country, there is a possibility that the scale of damage will increase.
