An aid vehicle operating in the Palestinian Gaza Strip was attacked by an Israeli airstrike on the 30th of last month, killing five people, a Palestinian health ministry official said.
The Israeli military said it had demanded an explanation from the group, saying one of the militants involved in the Hamas attack in October last year was working for the group and carried out the airstrike.
The vehicles that were hit by the airstrike belong to World Central Kitchen, which operates in conflict or disaster zones and has been feeding local residents since the outbreak of the Gaza war.
Three of the five people killed were World Central Kitchen employees, a local aid worker told The Associated Press.
World Central Kitchen was temporarily suspended earlier this year after seven employees were killed by Israeli airstrikes.
