Please tell us about the heavy snow in the northeast of the United States.

This is the Thanksgiving holiday, which has the largest number of people on the move in the U.S. year.

Heavy snow warnings have been issued in the northeastern United States and emergency or disaster conditions have been declared in some areas.

The National Weather Service issued a heavy snow warning for the southern coast of Lake Erie and the eastern coast of Lake Ontario on the morning of November 30 local time.

The Korea Meteorological Administration (KMA) predicted that snowfall in the region would reach up to 120 cm by Monday, the 2nd.

Parts of Ohio on the southern coast of Lake Erie could see as much as 150cm of snow by Tuesday, the National Weather Service said.

Lake Erie, Lake Ontario, and other Great Lakes coasts are areas where cold air flows over the lake and snow clouds are created, resulting in heavy snow accompanied by severe cold weather in winter.

The heavy snow has declared a state of emergency in parts of New York and a state of disaster in Pennsylvania.

Pennsylvania police said more than 200 traffic accidents were reported in the 24-hour period from 6 a.m. local time Friday to 6 a.m. Saturday.

The U.S. Transportation Authority said the heavy snow could make it very difficult or impossible to move in some areas and asked people to avoid driving their vehicles.

Authorities have warned that travellers, especially those who have visited their families for Thanksgiving this weekend, may have significant difficulty returning home.

Some sections of the highway connecting Pennsylvania and northern New York have remained closed so far.

As a result, travelers who gave up moving cars flocked to nearby accommodations, spending the night in hotel lobbies and conference rooms, the Associated Press reported.

Heavy snow and cold waves are making it more difficult for car users.

The U.S. National Weather Service says cold air from the Arctic has caused temperatures to drop by 10 to 20 degrees Celsius above normal in the northern plains.

Authorities have issued a cold wave warning for North Dakota, which is currently at minus 18 degrees Celsius.

The weather service warned that the cold will spread to the eastern United States by tomorrow, Monday, and will be about 10 degrees below the average temperature in early December in previous years.
