Korea Zinc To Hold Extraordinary Shareholders' Meeting On Jan. 23

Korea Zinc is expected to hold an extraordinary shareholders' meeting on January 23rd next year, as requested by Youngpoong and MBK Partners.

According to the financial investment industry, Korea Zinc will accept Youngpoong's demand for an extraordinary general meeting of shareholders and hold a board meeting as early as tomorrow (3rd) to deal with the related agenda.

In particular, the competition to purchase additional shares is expected to continue before the closing of the shareholders' list, as the extra shareholders have to fight for votes with Youngpoong and MBK over the handling of the agenda at the extraordinary shareholders' meeting.
