[Gyeonggi] Guri City creates 2 soccer fields along the Han River...Completed in May 2026

Guri City will create two artificial turf soccer fields at the citizens' stadium along the Han River in Acheon-dong.

With the goal of completion in May 2026, a total of 4.2 billion won will be invested to install two official football fields, a lighting tower, and a parking lot.

Of the project costs, 1.26 billion won will be selected for the sports promotion facility public offering project and supported by Gyeonggi Province.

Earlier in 2021, Guri City bought the site of a soccer field used by professional soccer FC Seoul players and created two sides of a natural turf civic field.

However, after a series of complaints from soccer groups and clubs that it was inconvenient to use one side of the soccer field in half, they decided to create an official standard soccer field.
