[Daegu] Creating an 'Airport New Town' 1.2 times the size of Yeouido on the Military Commission

Daegu City announced that it will create an airport new city 1.2 times the size of Yeouido in Gunwi-gun in time for the opening of the Daegu-Gyeongbuk New Airport.The new city, named

'Gunwi Sky City', will have housing, commerce, education, and medical facilities in two stages on an area of 10.7 million square meters.

Daegu City plans to create a 5,000-unit residential complex first in line with the opening of the airport in 2030 and add education and medical facilities by 2034, creating a foundation for revitalizing the new airport.
