It has been confirmed that President Yoon Suk Yeol submitted a motion to appoint a Supreme Court justice to the National Assembly yesterday (12th), when he announced his fourth public statement.

According to the National Assembly's agenda information system, President Yoon submitted a "consent to appoint Ma Yong-ju as a Supreme Court justice" to the National Assembly yesterday and said he would ask for the National Assembly's consent to appoint the next person as the Supreme Court justice as his term expires.

Accordingly, an official from the President's Office explained that it was in accordance with the legal procedure at the request of the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court.President

Yoon is believed to be continuing his exercise of authority by announcing his statement yesterday that he would fight the impeachment and investigation, approving the Cabinet's agenda and asking for consent to appoint a Supreme Court justice.
