Apple CEO Tim Cook met with President-elect Donald Trump on the 13th local time, foreign media reported.
The New York Times quoted two sources as saying on the 13th local time that CEO Cook visited his Mar-a-Lago home in Florida, met with Trump and had dinner with him.
CEO Cook is likely to have asked for Trump's support regarding Apple's pending issues at the meeting.
In particular, the New York Times predicted that there would have been talks on the issue of fines imposed on Apple by the European Union (EU) for violating anti-trust laws and Trump's plan to raise tariffs.
Even before the presidential election, Cook reportedly asked Trump to inform him of the EU's plan to impose fines and pay attention.
In fact, Trump also said, "I will not stand by and watch Europe exploit American companies."
