Seeing the National Assembly's impeachment motion passed today reminded me of June 29, 2021, when I first declared my participation in politics.

Liberal democracy and the rule of law in this country was broken.

The despair of the self-employed and the frustration of the young were filling the whole country.

He entered politics with that fervent national aspiration.

Since then, I have been working with all my energy without a moment's rest.

When I became the president and met the people on the ground, small business owners and self-employed people were screaming due to the previous government's sub-star policy, and young people and ordinary people were groaning with real estate loans.

However, when I listened to the difficult situation calmly and solved the problem little by little, I felt more happy than anything else.

As exports revived, the economy was revitalized and the warmth spread little by little.

By restoring the collapsed nuclear power plant ecosystem, it even achieved nuclear power plant exports.

It is essential for the future, but we have been pressing ahead with the four major reforms that the previous governments have not been able to do because they are afraid of being unfavorable to elections.

When the policies that were considering and promoting for the people were held back, I felt burning and couldn't sleep at night.

We worked day and night to restore cooperation between South Korea, the U.S., and Japan and expand the horizon of global diplomacy.

When I traveled around the world under the title of Korea's No. 1 salesperson and achieved results, I felt a great reward that cannot be explained in words.

I forgot about the tiredness of the international status of the Republic of Korea and the strengthening of our security and economy.

Now, I stopped my hard but happy and difficult but rewarding journey for a while.

I'm frustrated that the efforts so far won't go in vain.

I am pausing now, but the journey to the future that I have walked with the people for the past two and a half years should never stop.

I will never give up.

I will do my best for the country until the last minute with all the reprimands, encouragement and support for me in mind.

I would like to ask the public officials.

It's a difficult and difficult time, but please do your job by keeping your position without shaking.

I hope that everyone, centered on the acting president, will work together to protect the safety and happiness of the people.

And I ask the political community.

Now, please pay attention and efforts to improve political culture and institutions so that the politics of runaway and confrontation can change from politics of deliberation and consideration.
