The second impeachment of Yoon Suk Yeol's president passed the plenary session of the National Assembly.

The ruling party, which did not enter the voting hall after deciding on the "no vote" party last week, participated in the vote this time.

Please tell me the result of the vote in detail.

[Reporter]
With all 300 lawmakers in attendance, there were 204 votes in favor of 'Ga'.

More than two-thirds of the registered lawmakers, or more than 200, agreed to pass the impeachment bill.

The rejection is 85 votes, 3 abstentions, and 8 invalid votes.

Assuming that all pan-nights voted in favor, there are 108 lawmakers belonging to the People's Power based on the party's rejection.

At least 12 votes have left, and if you add abstention and invalid votes, it can be said that up to 23 votes have left.

This is more than the seven lawmakers who publicly expressed their support for impeachment, including Ahn Cheol Soo, Kim Ye-ji, Kim Sang-wook, Cho Kyung-tae, Kim Jae-sup, Jin Jong-oh, and Han Ji-ah.

This means that there were many lawmakers who voted for their conviction at the polling place as it was an anonymous vote.

Why did the ruling party participate in the vote, unlike in the first round of voting last week?

[Reporter]
As you said, in the voting on the 7th, the ruling party chose not to participate in the vote to prevent possible departure votes.

Since then, even within the party, there have been voices saying it was "not to the extent" and it seems that it is a considerable burden to face the backlash of public opinion again due to the absence of the vote.

In the wake of the president's additional statement, the atmosphere within the party has changed, and in particular, the increase in the number of lawmakers openly expressing their approval for impeachment is also considered to have been a major factor.

In fact, at the general meeting of lawmakers held before today's vote, it was found that the opposition to the impeachment bill mainly persuaded the pros.

The ruling party has not yet made an official position, and continues to hold a general meeting of lawmakers immediately after the plenary session.

Following the public proposal to make "pro-impeachment" the party's theory, Han, who emphasized that only the country and the people should see it today, also moved to the general assembly hall a little while ago.

There is a subtle war of nerves between the Han Dong-hoon leadership and the new floor leader Kwon Sung-dong, and they are busy preparing countermeasures at the party level.

What is the reaction of the opposition party to the impeachment motion?

[Reporter]
The results of the vote came out and cheers erupted in front of the main assembly hall, centered on opposition aides,

The people and democracy victory' is the position.

Chairman Lee Jae-myung of the Democratic Party visited the rally site and said, "We have now won the first round," and let's work together to prevent a counterattack and move toward an ultimate victory.

Floor leader Park Chan-dae also said at an earlier press conference that the civil war is not over yet and that he will even draw a citation from the Constitutional Court for impeachment.

The New Reform Party also said in a statement that President Yoon Suk Yeol now hopes to achieve his impure intention to incite some people and quietly self-reflect until a constitutional court sentence.
