The European Union (EU) said today (14th) that it is important to ensure that the current political crisis is resolved quickly and in an orderly manner in accordance with the Korean Constitution, regarding the National Assembly's passing of the impeachment motion against President Yoon Suk Yeol.
Anita Heifer, the EU's chief spokesman for foreign affairs and security, said in a statement that she was paying attention to the parliament's passing of the impeachment motion.
"The Republic of Korea is an important strategic partner of the EU," he added.
