Foreign media reported that U.S. Secretary of State Tony Blinken has proven South Korea's democratic resilience to the impeachment motion against President Yoon Suk Yeol.
Reuters said Blinken, who visited Jordan to discuss the process of establishing Syria's next government, said this when asked about his position on passing the impeachment motion by the South Korean parliament.
Blinken also said he saw the process of passing the impeachment motion proceed peacefully under the Constitution, adding that he would work with new leadership from allies, including acting President Han Duck-soo.
