It was found that 852 isolated and hidden young people in Seoul have made positive changes through city support.
The Seoul Youth Base Opening Center, which was established to support isolated and hidden youth for the first time in the country, said that 852 isolated youths were found and customized at this year's business performance sharing meeting, and their feelings of isolation and depression decreased by more than 20% and their self-efficacy increased by 19.6%.
In addition, more than one-third of the 249 respondents said they experienced self-reliance such as employment and career changes after participating in the project, and 23% obtained new certificates.
In addition, 51 people participated in the curriculum to train the families of young people who have overcome isolation and concealment as mentors.
The Seoul Metropolitan Government plans to open an online stretching center next year to more actively induce young isolated people to participate in the program and restore their self-direction.
