Hong Joon Pyo "Republicans in favor of impeachment should be suspended"

Daegu Mayor Hong Joon Pyo argued that the people's power should be reorganized, including suspending the membership of lawmakers who voted for impeachment.

Mayor Hong said on his SNS today that the party's discipline will be established only when local lawmakers who voted for impeachment are suspended for two years and proportional representatives are suspended for three years.

He added that the sooner the disciplinary action is taken, the better because the shipwreck was left unattended during the impeachment of the Park Geun Hye.

He stressed that it should be known that it was only the second lieutenant of the Democratic Party who voted for impeachment, not his conviction.
